Otakar Kraus Music Trust

We had a wonderful Christmas concert this year, with a great variety of performances – piano, singing, poetry, drums, choir, ukulele, guitar, saxophone and more! Our OK Music School pupils and band all showed so much progress and it was a pleasure to see their enjoyment in performing. The OK Youth Choir sang with great rhythm accompanied by Makaton signing and the OK Ukulele Group brought smiles to all our faces. We laughed and we cried, and families were so happy to see how performing music brought joy, self-belief and confidence to their children.

Many thanks to St Mary’s Church, Twickenham for a beautiful setting, and to Sir Vince Cable who presented exam and Jack Petchey certificates to our students. Thank you also to our compère Jeremy, our amazing therapists and teachers – Edison, Carmem, Sophie, Christine, Elaine, Gary, Tara, Mathew and Sara – and to all our fabulous volunteers.
