We were delighted to run 4 ‘Making Connections’ music therapy workshops for children from 21&Co during January and February, thanks to the fundraising concert Choirs for Chloe & Co, organised by the The Arts Society in October at all Saints Church, Kingston.

During the workshops we used a range of approaches from improvisation and exploration to structured music making, with the overarching motivation to engage the children in making music together. As the photos show, the children had a wonderful time

Our music therapist Lydia said, “It was fantastic to see the children making connections through the music and building their independence and confidence in themselves – both as individuals and as part of a group!”
