You can make a donation to OKMT here donate
We are very grateful for every donation, but there are many other ways you can support our vital work by giving some of your time to fundraise in the community. Read on to find out more. Please email email@example.com or call 07435 062212 if you would like to get involved in any of these activities.
OKMT Music Marathon
Take part in our Music Marathon on 7th October from 12 noon – 6pm at Duke Street Church, Duke Street, Richmond TW9 1DH
We welcome musicians of all ages, abilities and styles to take part in our OKMT Music Marathon. Get sponsored to sing or play an instrument.
If you can play an instrument or sing this is a great, fun way to support OK Music School to help more children and young people with disabilities learn to play an instrument. Find out more here
The Big Half
We have 2 runners in the Big Half marathon on 3rd September 2023 in London. The Big Half has a fun, festival atmosphere, so look out for more places available with OKMT next year. There are many other half marathons, or 20Ks if you love running and want to support OKMT.
In the meantime you can support our 2023 runners – OK Music School dad, Ed Wilson here and OKMT Operations Co-ordinator, Hana Wilford here.
There are lots of other other sporting challenges you can take on in aid of OKMT!
Marathons, fun runs, swimathons, bikeathons, sky-diving, tough mudders
Whatever challenge takes your fancy, we’ll support you with information and marketing. You can set up a fundraising page for your friends and families to make donations to support you on Just Giving at https://www.justgiving.com/okmtrust Then click on Fundraise for us.
Be our ‘Star Baker’…
If you like baking then why not organise a cake sale at your work or child’s school in aid of OKMT? Not only will you be doing something great for OKMT but everyone will love you for feeding them cake! Or help us by making cakes or biscuits for one of our fundraising events instead.
Get your company or school involved…
Do you work for a company that would support OKMT? If so, then do get in touch! We’d love to be your ‘Charity of the Year’! It’s a great way of boosting staff morale at the same time as doing your bit for charity!
Or maybe you have a child at a local school, who may be willing to fundraise for a local charity like OKMT? We can supply you with leaflets and short presentations and films or come into a company or school to tell them about OKMT.
Celebrate an Event, Organise a Quiz, Donate a Choir Collection
You can create a birthday fundraising page on Facebook – instructions here https://www.facebook.com/help/1910205189301966 or celebrate any big event by asking for donations to OKMT. You can set up a page at https://www.justgiving.com/okmtrust
Organise a quiz or social event, or if you are in a local choir, choose OKMT as the beneficiary of your concert collection.
Spread the Word!
Another great way to help us is to spread the word about the work we are doing, by sharing our events and campaigns on your social media pages or promoting our services to people who may be interested in music therapy. We are very grateful to anyone who shares or posts something about our work on their social to help us reach an even bigger audience.
