Volunteer
We welcome volunteers to join our small, friendly team to give their time to help our cause. If you have some spare time, then why not get involved, attend our concerts and help make a difference to vulnerable people in the community. We value you all our volunteers and provide support and pay out-of-pocket expenses. Read our Volunteer Policy here

Fundraising events – volunteer at our Music Marathon on 7th October 2023 at Duke Street Church, Richmond TW9 1DH any time between 11am and 7pm. We will need help with setting up stalls and instruments and packing up, manning a lucky dip or other stall, welcoming guests, selling raffle tickets, serving food and drinks from stalls etc. We would be very grateful for your help for as long as you are available on the day. You can enjoy a fun day, full of music. You will be part of a friendly, welcoming team which holds 2 or 3 fundraising events per year.
Concerts – we hold 2 public concerts every year in summer and at Christmas for our OK Music School, OK Youth Choir and OK Ukulele Group. We need help with stewarding, selling raffle tickets, serving refreshments or other general tasks. Attend our concerts free of charge and have a heart-warming experience.
Help at some of our music therapy groups. If you have some musical skill or experience or experience of working with children or adults with disabilities or additional needs, then let us know. Help is needed at our OK Youth Choir rehearsals on Saturday mornings or Music Club on Tuesday afternoons and there are other opportunities too. Learn about music therapy and how it can help people with communication difficulties.

Trustees
We are looking for additional Trustees to join our Board, which is responsible for the overall management of OKMT. Trustees attend quarterly meetings, bringing their expertise and experience to work with our dedicated team to ensure OKMT is efficiently run, and continues to make a significant difference to the lives of the most vulnerable members of our local community.
