On Sunday 14th November 2021, the whole of #TEAMOKMT got together for the first time since March 2020, and joined by supporters and families, walked round the Tamsin Trail in Richmond Park, to raise funds for OKMT. We had a wonderful drumming send off at Pembroke Lodge and a beautiful walk in the autumn colours around the 7.3 mile Trail.
We were raising funds to ensure we can reach more vulnerable people, whose well-being has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, like this elderly man who took part in our online group music therapy:
“Due to his brain injury A doesn’t always remember the sessions but he is always more upbeat afterwards. The active involvement with music is good for him as it requires him to learn some new simple skills. Before his injury, A was very social and it’s hard to get any social activity during the pandemic, so the sessions have been a vital connection to others”
We’ve already reached 78% of our target, but with your help we can get to 100%. Please support OKMT here: #TeamOKMT
