Otakar Kraus Music Trust

We’ve loved providing music therapy at Homelink Day Respite Centre for the past few years,  providing a place for elderly clients with dementia or other age-related conditions to listen to music, join in with favourite songs, play percussion, and engage in therapeutic interactions with others.  Clients remember the words to all the songs and love singing along and the music evokes memories they can share with the group. Our last session was a very joyful occasion, playing instruments, singing and dancing too. Many thanks to Hampton Fund for funding these groups.
