We were delighted to welcome Mr Richard Upson to a session of our neurological music therapy group, held at Integrated Neurological Services in Twickenham, and run by our music therapist Moggs. This course is for people who have had a stroke, and helps to improve their communication, movement and cognition. It is funded by donations made in memory of Richard’s late wife, Joy, who recently died from a stroke, and we are extremely grateful to him for choosing OKMT as the beneficiary.
Participants related how much they felt they were benefiting from the sessions and that they really enjoyed forming bonds with others in a similar situation.
